Includes instruction on reproductive organs, hormones, heat diagnosis, semen collection, insemination techniques, semen evaluation, pregnancy testing, freezing and dilution methods. Hands-on experience is stressed. Note: Recommended for second-year students.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Upon completion of this course, the student shall have basic knowlwdge of reproductive anatomy and physiology. In addition, he she will have the knowledge and skill necessary to inseminate cattle. Semen handling and record keeping skills will also be acquired.
