Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Understand differences of various facets of the U.S. sheep industry. Identify sheep breeds and their significance with in U.S. sheep industry. Understand sheep behavioral characteristic to more properly work and restrain sheep with limited stress. Develop a flock health program and perform critical husbandry skills. Successfully manage nutrition and reproduction of the sheep flock. Communicate current issues facing sheep producers and identify profitable marketing avenues.
