MA3. 452 Advanced CNC Technology II
This course provides training and learning experiences in Computer Numeric Control (CNC) technology. Students will receive training on safe CNC operation skills on a number different of CNC machines and controls.

MA3. 421 CNC Lathe and
MA3. 451 Advanced CNC Technology I with a B or better.

Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Demonstrate good CNC machine operator skills. Understand and comply with safety rules and safety considerations. Use MasterCam to generate toolpaths and machine code for turning centers and vertical machining centers. Set up for machining angular panes using a sine bar. Write machine code, set up and run thread milling for internal and external threads. Use a turning center to perform single point threading for internal and external threads.
