Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Students recognize and name approximately 140 shrubs, vines and groundcover species based on observable plant characteristics such as plant form, flower shape, leaf margins, and bark texture. Students list horticultural uses and know habitat requirements for the landscape plants covered in this course.
