Liberal Arts Core Requirements
The Liberal Arts Core requirements are a requirement of the College of Liberal Arts at Oregon State University. Transfer students in the following programs have this requirement: Anthropology, Art, Communication, Economics, English, History, Journalism and Mass Communications, Liberal Studies, Music, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, and World Languages. A single course cannot count towards all three of the General Education, LA Core, and major requirements. However, a single course can count towards two of them (e.g., both General Education and major). Credits fulfilling two requirements will only be counted once.
