Studies representative works in English literature for their inherent worth and for their reflection of the times in which they were written. Recommended: Completion of WR 121Z Composition I or equivalent, ENG 104 Literature: Fiction, or ENG 106 Literature: Poetry.

Participate in activities that encourage personal awareness, growth, and/or creativity through the experience of English literature. Write and speak effectively about their own and others' ideas as they relate to the themes, history, and cultural impacts of English Literature.
