MTH 256 Applied Differential Equations

Beginning course in differential equations for students majoring in mathematics, sciences or engineering. Covers ordinary differential equations, series solutions, systems of first order differential equations, and Laplace transforms.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

Recognize when and how to proficiently apply differential equations techniques to solve problems in science, engineering and subsequent mathematics courses. Use a graphing calculator and or other technology to assist in solving differential equations.
