Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Identify ten reputable resources in the field of health and exercise science. Analyze the latest trends in health and exercise science careers as you apply this information in your own education and career path planning (self exploration, presentation, final exam). Examine and summarize statewide and national initiatives related to health and exercise priorities. Discuss the importance of the documents in the shaping of health and exercise science professions. (final exam, portfolio, presentation, internet search). Create an extensive list of professional organizations, certifications, websites and education and licensing requirements for a variety of professional opportunities in public health, health education and exercise science.
