Covers hydraulic theory along with pump, actuator application, and valve design and theory.

Prerequisite: Placement into ALS 100 Applied Learning Strategies or higher, and placement into WR 095 College Writing Fundamentals or higher, and placement into MTH 060 Introduction to Algebra or higher.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

Student will be able to read and understand basic hydraulic schematics. They will be able to identify hydraulic components and identify and correct simple hydraulic systems problems. Studentswill be able to construct simple hydraulic circuits the match a system schematic.
