Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Identify and select horticultural plants for landscape maintenance. Use or maintain landscape plant materials. Prepare, manage, and use soil and plant growing media. Identify and control insects, disease and rodents. Identify and control weeds and brush. Select and install plant materials according to plan. Construct or install landscape development projects. Operate and maintain small power equipment and hand tools. Understand how to install and maintain irrigation systems. Keep and evaluate accurate records.
