Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Compute and interpret descriptive statistics using numerical and graphical techniques. Apply the basic concepts of probability, random variables, combinations of random variables, and probability distribution. Compute point estimates of parameters, apply sampling distributions, and discuss the central limit theorem. Construct and interpret confidence intervals on parameters. Formulate and carry out a hypothesis test.
