Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Describe the anatomy of the cardiovascular system and the physiology relevant to sleep and sleep disorders for this system. Describe the anatomy of the respiratory system and the physiology relevant to sleep and sleep disorders for this system. Explain ventilation and the mechanics of breathing. Identify the gas exchange process as it relates to breathing and ventilation.
