PFW 263 Pipe Trades Capstone
Requires the fabrication of a predetermined, instructor-approved project that incorporates subject matter learned over the course of the Pipe Trades program. Includes an evaluation of completed capstone project to ensure industry standards for acceptability are met.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Construct a predetermined fabrication/pipe capstone project. Apply appropriate layout, cutting and welding procedures. Use industry-standard welding processes and techniques. Select appropriate welding filler metals. Operate a forklift and bridge crane in support of a project. Employ teamwork strategies to meet the project objectives.
