CRS 211 CPC/CMA Test Taking Strategies

This course will help students to maximize their scores on their certifications examinations through the American Association of Medical Assistants and the American Association of Professional Coders.

Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Apply critical thinking skills learned during the term to achieve a 25% increase in mock national exam testing over pretesting scores. Pre and Post testing will be conducted in the 1st and 10th week. Engage in guided self reflection to build a measurable inventory of their specific barriers to successful testing. Score a 70% or above on the Certified Professional Coding (AAPC) exam or a 75% or above on the Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA) exam.
