Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Use Latin and Greek word component parts for prefixes, word roots, combining forms and suffixes to build medical terms. Separate medical terms into their components parts and define the meaning of basic prefixes, word roots and suffixes. Accurately use plural endings for medical terms. Define commonly used medical abbreviations and symbols. Accurately spell medical terms. Accurately pronounce medical terms.
