Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Demonstrate an understanding of plant-water-soil relationships. Identify components and capacity of common horticultural and crop production irrigation systems. Design a basic irrigation system considering economic, environmental and and crop production factors. Describe water conservation measures that are appropriate to the local environment and plant production system.
