PH5. 311 Medical Terminology Phlebotomy

Phlebotomy students will learn basic medical language in written and oral forms to communicate as members of a health care professional team and to understand the basics of physician's diagnosis and treatment that influence blood draws.

Pronounce, define, identify word parts, and correctly use them to complete use them to complete a statement. Construct an acceptable medical term from definition. Provide medical abbreviations, list the phrase, name, or label. Understand medical terms used in hospital setting.
