An introduction to graphic literature, both fiction and nonfiction, in a variety of genre and formats. Includes the selection, evaluate, promotion and uses with students in K-12 classrooms and libraries and with adults in public libraries.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Demonstrate the ability to utilize library selections tools to select graphic literature for a specific age group. Demonstrate the ability to respond to the educational and recreational needs of specific user groups in the classroom or library. Apply the artistic and literary elements to evaluate a specific text.
