Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Analysis of historical material and how it is applicable to today's world on a personal, regional, national and international level. The student should be able analyze historical data, and first person accounts of events, in order to allow them to better understand the human behaviors throughout history. The student should be able to develop an appreciation for the interconnected global nature of modern history. The student should learn to appreciate other cultures, and have open minds in order to be able to distinguish between factual history and stereotypical assumptions. The student will learn to analyze course material: text, lectures, documentaries, and discussions, to further understand history and society.
