CMA 101 Medical Term & Body Systems I

This course prepares the student to use appropriate medical terminology to identify the structural organization of the body, identify body systems, and describe body special orientation. Students will identify the normal function of each body system. Students will identify word parts and abbreviations as they relate to body systems.

Describe structural organization of the human body. Identify Body System. Describe Body Planes, Directional terms, quadrants, and cavities. Describe the normal function of each body system. Diagram medical terms, labeling the word parts. Define both medical terms and abbreviations related to all body systems.
