A general chemistry sequence for students majoring in most sciences, pharmacy, and chemical engineering. Third course of a three-term sequence for students in science, engineering and the professional health programs. Includes a laboratory component.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Work safety as a team member and as an individual in a laboratory environment. Observe and record measurements related to physical and chemical properties. Think critically, perform calculations, analyze results, discuss and make final conclusions regarding chemistry in the laboratory, classroom and real life. Understand the historical developments of chemical principles and theories.
