Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Set up and operate welding machines used for the GTAW process. Perform welding in the flat, horizontal, and vertical positions as appropriate for the welding process. Recognize and name key components of GTAW welding equipment. Select the commonly used type(s) of filler metal for the base metal being welded. Use applicable shop equipment safely.
