Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Understand mathematical notations used in technical writing. Use a scientific calculator to perform calculations. Apply the concepts of algebra to solve equations and simplify mathematical expressions. Solve word problems involving proportionality. Use trigonometry to solve right triangle problems. Understand fundamental geometric constructions. Know which mathematical concepts to apply when solving NC (numerical control) problems.
