Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Identify processes that can be completed on a Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) 3D printer machine. Create physical solid parts from digital CAD models using FDM machine. Apply basic finishing and processing techniques to the manufactured part. Identify processes that can be completed on a Computer Numeric Control (CNC) router. Set up and operate a CNC router to manufacture a simple project. Create 2D tool paths using basic computer aided manufacturing (CAM) operations.
