CMA 244 Medical Assisting Clinical Block II
Prepares the student to function as a medical assistant in the medical office assisting with complex procedures and/or treatments.
Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Demonstrate safe practice in the administration of oral and parenteral medications. Demonstrate critical thinking processes in performing patient assessment. Differentiate between medical and surgical asepsis used in ambulatory care settings, identifying when each is appropriate.
