CMA 243 Medical Assistant Lab Block I
Prepares the student to perform CLIA-waived tests in a physician’s office laboratory. Students will be competent to perform quality control and practice appropriate safety precautions.

Perform CLIA-waived tests for the office environment. Distinguish between normal and abnormal test results using critical thinking skills. Obtain specimens for microbiological testing. Perform EKG.
