Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Use applicable equipment safely. Set up and operate oxy-fuel equipment. Set up and operate shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) equipment. Perform welding in the flat position, horizontal position with oxyacetylene welding (OAW) and SMAW processes. Perform braze welding and oxy-fuel cutting. Recognize and name the various components of the applicable welding, braze welding, and flame cutting equipment.
